Since 1996 the DGfZ (German Society for Cytometry) awards younger scientists with the Klaus-Goerttler-Prize. The Prize is dedicated to award younger scientists for their innovative, highly qualitative scientific work in the wide field of Cytometry.

Laureates

The Klaus Goerttler Prize is open to young scientists who have submitted an outstanding doctoral, diploma or equivalent thesis in the field of cytometry. The work, which should document an educational degree, does not have to be compulsory, but must be largely completed. The achievement should be supported by adequate publication(s).

The award is named after Prof. Klaus Goerttler, who was a pathologist and trend-setting member of the foundation board of our society.

The prize is awarded with 1,000 Euros

The awarded scientist will be invited to give a presentation reflecting his/her work during the award ceremony on the occasion of the Annual Conference of the DGfZ, on Thursday, September, 29th, 2022 in Berlin.
